ORIGAMI HOUSE
The new construction project with origami roof and James Bond touch in the middle of Vienna’s green belt is dedicated to the “green” part of the belt: Giant glass surfaces connect nature with architecture. The interior concept follows the same principle of connecting outside and inside. With a lot of transparency one can experience light differently throughout a day. This course is reflected in the conscious choice of materials, too. The brightness of the three-floor house increases naturally from basement to upper floor. The concept ranges from dark bronze to light brass, from opaque to transparent glass and from dark oak parquet flooring to light natural stone. Even the lift - that literally represents a process - has a metal cladding that differs thanks to different stages of oxidation. The floating feeling is only topped by the view over the infinity pool from the kitchen window. The whole interior concept of the house flows between elegance, extravagance and modernity.
